Not Getting Data From NinjaTrader Continuum

Hi all,

I connect to NinjaTrader Continuum successfully, but when I open a chart, say ES03-16, I get nothing. No price data. No feed. I can't get data for any of the other instruments either.

Anyone else have this problem?

Hello BobbyWan,

The ES 03-16 expired in March of 2016 (a few years ago).

Try loading the currently trading ES 06-19.


Please follow these steps to roll over the expiration date of a Futures contract in NinjaTrader 8:

• Navigate to the Control Center > Tools > Database window.
• Left-click the ‘Rollover’ button that appears just below the table under the ‘Rollover futures instruments’ section.
• Close this window when this process completes.

If you haven't already updated to 8.0.18.0, updates to NinjaTrader will contain the latest security updates and bug fixes, as well as new instruments and rollover dates.

To update your NinjaTrader platform:

• Copy your license key to a text file. You can find this under Help -> License Key
• Use the following public link to get to the NinjaTrader download page: Download
• Enter your license into the Current Users field, and download NinjaTrader
• Shutdown all programs including NinjaTrader *important
• Double click the downloaded file to execute it
• Follow the on screen instructions
• Restart NinjaTrader
