How can I monitor latency and connection quality using NT8 and data feed

Hi Staff,

a) how can I monitor the quality of my datafeed connection (i.e.: latency) using my NT8 last release as I saw a friend of mine using for example CQG platform can monitor in a specific small window , second by second, during trading operation, if latency is growing or is stable, and generally speaking the datafeed quality connection with my NT8 ?

b) How can I monitor the log to check for example the reason why datafeed line fault down (rarely), to can understand if this is due to my fiber line or to datafeed flux, or if there is available any tools to better survey the paltform ??

I'm not aware of any tools that do jitter or latency testing through the NinjaTrader Platform.

I am happy to submit a feature request for the NinjaTrader Development to consider creating this for a future version of NinjaTrader if you would like.

I consider this feature to monitor the latency etc ... as adopted on some other well known platforms could be usefull and valuable also if present in NT 8 rel. xxx (mean asap you can ).

I thank you for your further clarification: I suggest this feature because I consider important that NT can grow up time to time consistently, aligned with other well trusted paltforms as i.e. Cqg .
Also usage of " fiber " for connection to the Internet and datafeed will implement the need to monitor latency and other valuable parameters to avoid any reason of troubbles when inside the markets.
Hope this feature will be developed soon and available to all Ninja Trader extimators
