what is teh spped expected for payback MAX

I got a new laptop running windows 10 and i7 6820 cpu. the playback seems to run only 30x times per second when I set the playback to max.
it seemed to run faster on my older i5 laptop.
what factors drives the speed of the playback. I don't think its a ninjatrader issue but something on my laptop.
the trades are very low. I make 1 trade a day.

I've found:

# of work spaces open
# of charts/tabs open
# of strategies run.
# of trades per strategy
How optimized is the code?

3 charts and 1 strategy I get about 1.5 to 2 hour jumps since my strategy only does 1 to 3 trades a day.

So reduce to a minimum and see what you get with 1 chart and no strategy.

sledge is onto the right troubleshooting steps you would need to take here to determine what is causing the playback to perform slower than you would expect.

i think i had excpetion being written to output window that i did not notice. fixed it. will keep an eye on performance but my guess is that the volume of info written to output window due to exception is the culprit
