Saving Alerts in chart template & copying Alerts from chart to chart & tab to tab

For all interested - User ErikY has figured out how to save Alerts/transfer to another chart by editing the .xml file, and has posted his method for all. Search the Forum

been reading this thread. yeah i wouldnt hold my breath on an internal fix. that said. i guess having a way to manage alerts [enable, disable] via the control panel is probably not possible either. i find having multiple buy or sell chart alerts, it gets hard to track them. i guess this is why this platform works best for futures and less for lots of stocks.

The title of SFT-2045 is "Allow Alerts to be saved as part of a window template". So, you'd be able to copy between charts/tabs by applying the template that the alert is saved to.

WOW we seriously can't save alerts? We have to redo our alerts every time? Please add my vote to add this feature. I can't believe that this wouldn't be possible. I guess I'll add all of my alerts to TradingView.

Please add my vote to this feature request. The lack of mobility makes alerts a very cumbersome tool to use across multiple charts or workspaces.

Deciding on features for future releases is not a simple black and white decision. There are many factors involved including but not limited to:

• Demand which is measured by objective user requests and subjective discretion on the part of our Product Management team.
• Feasibility
• Developer bandwidth
• Current projects in the queue
• Economics

You'll find a note regarding your feature request in the release notes when a feature is implemented.
