We are exploring app developing using Ninja Trader to send out signals to an external application we will build. Is this possible? We normally are using Meta Trader or custom builds in FIX API but a client has requested we use Ninja Trader, probably with Forex.com

This would certainly be possible to do by interfacing with your custom application through C#.

We would not be able to provide support for directly interfacing with your custom application, but we do have some pre-written samples that can give you on idea on how NinjaScripts are written so you can accomplish your goal through an indicator or NinjaScript strategy.

Thanks Jim this is really helpful, C# is great. So I'm now downloading a Ninja Trader demo and looking to find a programmer experienced specifically in C# with Ninja Trader (we have developers but I've always found in my experience that experience counts!)

trade copy

Is there any trade copy functionality with Ninja trader? Or if I have a Ninja Script and someone wants to use it can I sell it in the developer marketplace? I'm familiar with Tradestation's developer ecosystem, but new to Ninja Trader.

There is a trade-copy feature within NinjaTrader 7 called "Account Groups" but this feature was not included for NinjaTrader 8. You can learn more about Account Groups for NinjaTrader 7 at the link below:

NinjaTrader's marketplace for third-party apps is called the NinjaTrader Ecosystem. This allows third-party developers to market and distribute custom add-ons for the NinjaTrader platform.
