Continuous Symbol

Does NT 8 have a continuous symbol where there is no need to keep changing the front month? I know TS has them with an "@" before the symbol.

To load a continuous contract within NinjaTrader please set the expiry to ##-## for example ES ##-##.

When I set the ZW contract to ZW ##-## the chart did not populate any data. Am I doing something wrong?

Currently continuous contracts with Continuum are not supported within NinjaTrader however by default NinjaTrader automatically merges data to build continuous data.

For example if you open an ES 06-18 chart with 60 days set to load NinjaTrader will merge data from ES 03-18 into ES 06-18 to backfill your chart.

Thank you. So how far back can it go on a one minute chart? Maybe 10 years? Like how many years back can it merge?
