    Drawing Objects not copied when rolling futures contracts

    When I roll futures contracts using the database option, I expect that the drawing objects will be copied from the current contract to the next contract. This doesn't appear to be happening. It looks like it should be working according to the documentation. Is there something else I need to do to get the drawing objects copied?

    Also this screwed up the recovery xml files as well. They're not showing my original drawobjects anymore either. Why would that happen?

      Thank you for your note.

      Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "ATTN CHRIS S 2183945" in the subject line so I may investigate this matter further.
      • Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
      • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
      • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
      • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

        In case others are wondering, global draw objects are not copied when you roll. I've asked to include this feature as most people. Also it seems like others I've talked to are confused about this as well, so please vote on this thread if you want this feature.

            has there been an update to this yet? very critical feature here!!

            also, there is no way to automatically set drawing objects to global in an indicator to use the ninja roll utility...

                I haven't seen any features that complete this task. It's been 9 months already. Can we bump the priority of this higher? It's a very easy fix and very critical for most traders.
