can i download chart bar data to an excel program?

i have a june'18 10 minute bar futures chart.
is there a way to download the bar O-H-L-C data to an excel program?

Thanks for opening the thread.

It would not be possible to directly export the data to Excel without custom formatting.

Some approaches could involve using custom programming in an indicator to output the data to a Comma Separated Values file, or exporting the historical data and converting the file to a CSV file.

To convert exported data to a Comma Separated Values file, please follow the instructions below:

1. Export the historical data to a file using the instructions here.
2. Open the file in a text editor and use "Find and Replace" to replace each semicolon ";" with a comma "," Find And Replace can be brought up in most text editors with Ctrl + H.
3. Save the file as a .CSV file
4. Open the saved .CSV file in Excel

While we do not regularly do conversions for users, we were approved to complete this one as a courtesy as it was fairly quick to do.

Here is a basic guideline of how to import NinjaScript add-ons in NinjaTrader 8:

Note - To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.

To Import:

1. Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
2. From the Control Center window select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-on...
3. Select the downloaded .zip file
4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the strategy to a chart by:

• Right click your chart > Strategies... > Select the strategy from the 'Available' list on the left > Add > Properties > Enable > OK
