    Charts not loading..

    Hi..

    I've had a chart loaded all day and working on strategies... I go to take a break and shut down Ninjatrader.. Only to come back fire it up, and now I can't get a chart to load.. Nothing but blank screens.. I have a data connection, but can't get a chart up.. Need a fix please..

    Hello Michael,

    So I may accurately assist you, please answer all of the following questions:
    • What version of NinjaTrader are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.? or 8.0.?.?)
    • What connection are you actively connected to? This is displayed with a green dot in the Connections menu of the Control Center
    • Who is your broker or data feed?
    • What instrument (and expiry if applicable) have you selected? For example, ES 09-19, AAPL, EURUSD, etc.
    • (For a chart) what interval is selected? For example, 5 minute, 1 day, 2000 volume, 4 Renko, etc.
    • What is the End date set to in the chart's Data Series window?
    • Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

      8.0.18.0 64bit.

      1 minute. The Interval dosen't seem to matter.. No chart shows up...

      What is the End date set to in the chart's Data Series window?.
      06/23/2019.

      Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?.
      No Error Messages.

        Hello Michael,

        There may be some confusion.

        Its not possible to be connected to the Playback connection showing a green dot and any other connection at the same time. The same is true with the Simulated Data Feed.

        It sounds as if you have not yet setup a connection and connected.

        Please send an email to platformsupport [at] ninjatrader [dot] com so that we may schedule for a technician to give you a call during our normal support hours from 9:00 AM Eastern until 6:00 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday.

          Chelsea,

          Sorry for the confusion..

          I know it is not possible to be connected to any other connection simultaneously..
          I've been building Strategys and practicing with the Chart Trader etc for the past month since I opened an account Phillip Capital...

          It doesn't matter what feed I'm connected too... I don't get a chart.. This has been an intermittant problem just this past week...

            The issue is likely you aren't connected to a live data feed.

            Please send an email to platformsupport [at] ninjatrader [dot] com so that we may schedule for a technician to give you a call during our normal support hours from 9:00 AM Eastern until 6:00 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday.
