Volumetric Bars, Absorption Example?

Hello,

Can someone provide examples of detecting Absorption, Exhaustion, Volume Clusters, and unfinished auction patterns using Volumetric Bars?
I saw the info below on the Order Flow+ page but see no examples in the help guides.
Volumetric Bars

Volumetric bars track buyers and sellers tick by tick giving you a comprehensive view of the activity for order flow trading.

• Footprint style visualization
• Show order flow imbalance
• Market delta analysis
• Identify volume clusters, absorption, exhaustion and unfinished auction patterns

Unfinished auctions patterns are where there is an imbalance in buys/sells at the top/bottom of a bar (identifiable by looking at the numbers at the top and bottom or the bars, made easier using show imbalance)

Volume clusters are just areas where the most volume is seen (can be seen by looking at the numbers, made easier by looking at the opacity of the colors)

Exhaustion is when a series of price levels near the top or bottom of a bar are all dominate on the buy or sell side (this could be seen by looking at the numbers, made easier by coloring the dominant side and looking at the colors)

How can I detect absorption in Volumetric Bars.
Do you have a signal that indicates absorption.

There are no special markings to highlight absorption in an Order Flow tools. I have submitted this as a feature request to the Development Team. I will follow up with an internal tracking number for your reference as soon as it is created.

If the order+ page states

But "There are no special markings to highlight absorption in an Order Flow tools." then how does the order flow identify absorption in it's current state?

While there isn't any specific absorption highlighting currently, you would be able to identify absorption by looking at values on a footprint chart, for example.
