Rollover difference between NT8 and NT7

Hello,

I have been porting the source code from NT7 to NT8, and if all done correctly, the results for indicators/strategies should be the same (well runs much much faster ). I came across an issue which I was able to trace to the fact that NT8 instruments have different roll over dates from NT7 instruments. For example, Gold (GC) June 2019 futures contract has roll over date of 03/27/2019 in NT8 and 03/29/2019 in NT7, this makes chart look different, as I need to use “Merge, do not adjust” for market data (please attached screen shot, the circles cover the last bars that match).

Is there any way to align the dates between NT8 and NT7, apart from doing each contract and each roll over manually?

Hello RedDuke, thanks for your note.

We changed the NT8 GC rollover dates to be more accurate. Unfortunately, all of the roll dates in NT7 will need to be changed manually to fix this.
