Left hand fixed scale and indicator panel sizes very often lost on startup

    Hello,

Using 8.0.18.1 64-bit , which for the most part, has been good. I have an issue which however has been outstanding for a very long time through many versions. I run a right and left hand scale. I plot in my left scale, in the chart main window. I resize this to give a fixed scale. The 'F' shows and all works well. But, very frequently, on reload of ninjatrader the next day, these fixed scales are lost and it becomes auto ranging again, which results in plots drawn up the entire screen. At the same time, my carefully sized indicator panels are very often resized and bigger than they were, which results in a much smaller chart. No errors seem to be displayed or logged concerning this. Seems minor, but is a annoying as I have to resize my workspace charts on reload very frequently.

I was wondering if you could suggest anything that might be causing this, or perhaps it is a bug you could take a look into. Perhaps others have experienced same? (that'd help confirm the bug part)

    Thanks.

    Hello pjsmith ,

    Thank you for your note.

Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "ATTN CHRIS S 2194795" in the subject line so I may investigate this matter further.
    • Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
    • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
    • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
I look forward to your reply.
