    Drawing Objects

If I draw a trend line or a horizontal line on one chart and then change the time frame on the chart will they stay on there?

Or can a line drawn on one chart be duplicated on another chart of the same instrument but a different time frame?

    Thank you.

    Hello Trader17,

    Thanks for your post.

Yes, draw objects will remain unless you change instruments. Changing the time frame or bar type may make the draw object not appear due to the scaling of the chart and you may need to change the scale to find the object that is outside of the charts current view.

Yes, you can create "Global draw objects" which will display on all charts of the same instrument. In a nutshell you open the object's properties (double left click on it) and assign to all charts (of the same instrument). For further clarity on the process, please see the section, "Understanding local vs. global drawing objects" here: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help..._tools__ob.htm

Please note that as a global object, if deleted on one chart, all related would be deleted.

If you find that you have a chart that you do not want to display the global objects, you can set the "Show global draw objects" property to false in the Data series for that chart.
