Need help MP profile plotting

Today i'm having difficulty plotting MP on ES......I have attached chart for your review, i use Kinetic data..........can you let me know what i'm dong wrong..

I see that your Order Profile indicator is restricted to RTH hours. Was this screenshot taken before or after RTH hours began? If you change the profile's 'Trading Hours' to '<use instrument settings>' or 'Default 24/7', does the profile appear?

To answer your question, my earlier pic was taken after the US OPEN .

No matter what setting i use, it is not plotting profile for today? send three pic with different settings for your review.

Are all of these plotting on daily data? What occurs if you try on an intraday chart, like 30 minutes?

Just tried it and it is plotting.........I can use this for now.......
question is why am i having issues with daily data......All along I've been using daily data.......appreciate if you can look into this further.

So I may accurately assist you, please answer all of the following questions:

• What version of NinjaTrader 8 are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 8.0.?.?)
• Who are you connected to? This is displayed in green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.
• Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?
• How long has NinjaTrader been open? Since this morning? Since last week? Does the symptom persist if you restart NinjaTrader?

4. Started this morning........restarted couple of minutes ago and still the same issue.

I can reproduce this behavior on my end when connected to Kinetick and loading a daily bar. I've reported this to the Development Team for review. That internal tracking number is QA-4507. I'll follow up when I have further information.

For now, you could plot a 1440 minute bar to simulate a daily bar to get your profile.

Thanks for your patience.

It looks like this is a known limitation with how certain data feeds supply daily data to NinjaTrader. You can work-around this either by using the 1440 minute chart as mentioned earlier, or you can switch the 'Profile period' to 'Bars' instead of the default 'Sessions',

I will use 1440 Min chart.......

fyi..........when using - Profile period to Bars, the July 4th holiday data got merged on to July 5th data..included pic for your review.

I would expect any days in which there was no actual session for this to occur. For example, the trading session which opened on the 3rd technically didn't close until the 5th.

Interesting charts, chalasani.

Do you find that Market Profile gives you an edge?

I loved the concept and theory behind it, but testing it a few years back, I was not quite convinced. I will need to give it more study first. It seems like NT have done a nice job with the MP charts though.
