Sim account reset every time

Hello.
I use NT8, playback connection, replaying historical data. I save my workspace every time i exit the program. every time i restore the workspace, my account is reset to its original value.
This way i get no traceability whatsoever with my trading. It only lasts for the current session, the next one I open will be like brand new (no trades, no reflection on the account ...), how can i fix this please?

Thanks for writing in.

This is expected with the Playback101 account - this account resets each time you disconnect and reconnect to the playback connection.

You would need to save your performance results from the Trade performance window if you want to view these results at a later time.

Thanks Alan for prompt response. I would expect the account with the same name to be kept ...
Anyways, if its not a bug, how to save trade performance window? i do see results, i don't see anything resembling "save", is exporting to excel is the only way?

You have the option of exporting the information to excel or printing the report.

Hello, following from this is there a way to :

edit the playback account starting value? No matter how I edit the Sim account it seems to reset its value ; as with sim account being edited to change the starting balance, can i do this for the playback account when in playback mode ? I note from below it resets after each connection but once connected is it possible to change the starting value?

The value needed must be reset before connecting to Playback, while connected the Sim101 will not be available to edit via Accounts.

So are you saying if i set the SIM101 value to say 50K before connecting to playback the playback account will show as 50K ?

That is correct - the Replay101 account starting value will be 50,000, the Replay account should match the settings applied to Sim101.
