market analyzer blank

    market analyzer blank

    When I started up today all market analyzer columns and alerts were gone. Not sure what could have caused that... Is there a way to recover them? Is this something that is known to happen?

    Ahh, it must be a known thing. I've restarted after building a new market analyzer and it is blank again.

      Thank you for your post.

      Losing the Market Analyzer settings is not a known behavior for the platform; did it close unexpectedly without saving your workspace or any other unusual event? We would be happy to look into why this is occurring. Please send your log and trace files to [email protected] so that we may investigate.

      You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

      Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

      Please reference the following forum link in the body of the email: https://ninjatrader.com/support/forum/node/1068994 as well as my name, ATTN Melissa.

      In the meantime, you could try restoring your workspace from an older save using the 'Restore workspace' feature:

      Complete the following steps to use the "Restore workspace" feature:
      1. Navigate to Tools -> Database Management
      2. Select "Restore workspace"
      3. Select Restore to be directed to the location of the recovery workspaces
      4. Workspaces will be organized in folders with the same name as the workspace
      5. Double click the folder of the workspace you want to recover and then select the recovery file with the date/time that you want to recover

        Hi - no nothing unusual or obvious, like I didn't save. The first loss is kind of an unknown, but I do know everything was saved and working with no issues for extended use (days,weeks). The second loss I saved my workspace as another workspace name right after I recovered from an old workspace (lost a bunch of work! ha-probably just a warning for me to do a backup and make sure I can recover ;-)). I then restarted and it was blank again. I'll try sending logs, etc when I get time.

          Thanks for the restore directions. I can restore to different known-good restore points, but they come back with a blank marketanalyzer. :-(
          Re-loading my recently working and saved workspace comes back with blank marketanalyzer again also

              PS: Pulled up NT on another machine and marketanalyzer seems to be working fine.
