^ADD for Ninjatrader Playback

Is it possible to download historical data for ^ADD for playback? When I try to download it I get an error:

There is no market replay data available for the instrument/date.

The date I picked is Friday 9/6/2019.

When I tried to download data for ^ADV and ^DECL - I didnt get any error. However no bars when I playback. I do get the chart for the ES (the main instrument) as well for the ^TICK.

Unfortunately, the ^ADD is not recorded for Market Replay data.

For historical data this will depend on your connection. (i.e. Kinetick has this index while CQG/Continuum connections do not)

There is an Advance Decline indicator that can be used if the provider does not provide ^ADD data.

I was able to download the indicator. However when I add it to the chart it doesnt work.

Interestingly ^ADV and ^DECL work when added as data series to the chart.

I am adding the indicator to a new panel within in the chart.

When I add the Advance Decline indicator here is what I get:

I can absolutely see it working in the bottom panel of your screenshot.

I suggest changing the outline of the bar to white to more clearly see this.

You could also move it to the top panel, and you have the option of showing the primary bars of the ES 09-19 which are currently hidden from the top panel.

I added the indicator to the same panel as the primary ES 09-19 bars but still no luck.

I dont see the price price (which I wasnt seeing earlier either when I added this indicator). however now I dont see either the indicator bars or the price.

I have attached the screenshot of the indicator settings as well as the chart.

The AdvanceDecline indicator shows bars. In your post #4, your screenshot shows the bars in panel 4 at the bottom of the chart. These bars have a black outline and are clearly working.

In your new screenshot you are in fixed scaling. Click the F on the top pane to return to automatic scaling to show all objects in that panel.

it is not working. the price chart for ES is not showing up (I did press F). Also btw I am using ES as the input data series for the AdvanceDecline indicator. For AdvanceDecline few red and green marks show up but there are gaps in between them.

looks like the AdvanceDecline line was vertically too compressed. It does show up after expanding the price vertically. The price for ES in the top panel still doesnt show up.

Based on your screenshot I can 100% guarantee the indicator is working.

The autoscale attempts to have all objects and series visible and can cause indicators to be squished.

Set the Scale Justification to Overlay or Left so that the price series and the indicator are not using the same scaling.

that worked. however it introduced a new problem. I dont see the price for the overnight session. it is only displaying price bars for the day session.
