    Connect to Thinkorswim data feed

    Support sent me a key to connect my Ninja 8 to my real time Thinkorswim data feed (I just want to use this to sim trade with Ninjatrader).
    But now I can't find how or where to install the new feed with the key they sent. Can you help?

      TD Ameritrade is not in the list of my available connections.

      I"m using Ninja 8 8.0.18 1 64 bit version

            So guys I followed the above link and instructions but being a total noob, how do I bring up a stock market chart. I can't figure out where to go for that. Thank ya' much!

              In NinjaTrader 8, a new chart may be opened by going to Control Center > New > Chart. I've provided a link below with more information:

                Thank you Tyler. As near as I can tell I've connected my ThinkorSwim platform but still can't seem to figure out exactly how to open a regular stock chart.

                  If you open a chart for a stock instrument, such as AAPL, what do you see on the chart?

                  Are there any errors in the Logs tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

                    Looks like I can pull up stocks now Tyler. I'm wondering if it's only during trading hours though. Last night I did exactly what I'm doing now and I would enter the ticker symbol but the chart screen would not populate.

                      Does this reoccur if the chart's trading hours are set to 'Default 24/7'?

                        Hiya Tyler, I've been looking for the option or box where I can set everything to "Default 24/7" and can't find it. However, I did go in and find nse in the left column and then go into the sessions and adjust each one to 0600AM to 1155PM and then add a Saturday and Sunday. So, I reckon we'll wait and see if that'll take care of the situation.

                        I sure do appreciate all your help. If this works I'll go in and start putting together my indicators and also see if I can figure out how to import a list of stocks that I'm monitoring over at TOS. Thanks again Sir... appreciate it!!!

                          The trading hours selected on the chart may be changed by right-clicking the chart and going to Data Series.
