have a three panel chart, ES (610 tick) in panel #1 (along with several indicators including a custom volume profile indicator), TICK (2-minute), and a custom volume indicator in the third panel based on the ES volume. Frequently, the TICK panel will just stop painting new bars. The only way to get them to paint is select Reload All Historical Data. After that, TICK will continue to paint new bars - for a while The problem with that is that also reloads all the ES tick, price and volume data. This results in a significant recalculation time for the volume profile.

    Hello StealthM93,

    Thank you for your note.

Downloading HIstorical Data will not automatically fill this data into a chart. You'd still have to reload the historical data for that to change. There would not be a way to refresh the data for just one data series on a chart, however.

Please let us know if we may be of further assistance to you.

Thanks, bitdavid. That works. Now, I'll just have to see if the TICK updates.

You can download exactly what you want via CC -> Tools -> Historical Data -> Load tab ...

    Hello,

Is there a way to reload the data for just a single data series on the chart?

I have a three panel chart, ES (610 tick) in panel #1 (along with several indicators including a custom volume profile indicator), TICK (2-minute), and a custom volume indicator in the third panel based on the ES volume. Frequently, the TICK panel will just stop painting new bars. The only way to get them to paint is select Reload All Historical Data. This results in a significant recalculation time for the volume profile.

Is there any way to just reload the TICK data without having to reload the ES data?

    Thanks,
    Matt
