Record historical data from Market Replay

Hi,

I have market replay data downloaded from a provider. Is there a way to record historical data (both minute data and daily data) while using Market replay in a chart?

Hello afoschini,

Thanks for posting to the forums. Enabling the Market Replay Recorder

To enable the replay recorder:

1.	Left mouse click on the Tools menu and select the menu item Options.

2.	In the Market Data category enable the option "Enable market recording for playback".

All live data from instruments that are active in any NinjaTrader window will now be recorded for playback. (see the "How to record live market data" section below)

Yes Marco, I am well aware of this feature. Actually I am asking about the other way around: I do have Market Replay Data, downloaded from a main provider, and want to record Historical data while playing replay data on a chart. Exactly the same way using the feature "Record live data as historical", but with playback data, not live.

Thanks for your reply.

Historical data would be packaged differently from Market Replay Data and would not be possible to create Historical Data from Market replay recording- You would need to connect to a data feed that supports this historical data, such as Kinetick, to get the Historical Data downloaded to your platform.
