chart trader not working

i am using the free license for a bit, but chart trading does not activate?? How do I place a live trade there is no provision to locate the DOM. or no provison to trade at all on the charts ty

Thank you for your post.

The free live license key will give you access to NinjaTrader's core features for charting and analytics, along with manual order placement from the SuperDOM. The free live license will not allow you to place orders or manage trades directly from the chart. Chart Trader will only be available for live trading with the purchase or lease of a live license key:

Alternatively, you can use the SuperDOM to place live trades using the free live license key. Here are the steps to open a new SuperDOM:

• NinjaTrader 7: Control Center > File > New > Static/Dynamic SuperDOM
• NinjaTrader 8: Control Center > New > Static/Dynamic SuperDOM

Thank you for your response.


To indent bars from the right edge of the Chart, do the following:

• Right-click inside the Chart > select 'Properties'
• Increase the 'Right side margin' property > Click 'Apply' to test and see how far the beginning of your Chart moves from the edge
• Click 'OK' to save and apply these changes

To move the EMA indicator in front of the candles on your Chart, do the following:

• Left-click on the Indicator to select it
• Hold 'Shift' on your keyboard and scroll with your mouse wheel. You will see Level information as you move the Indicator forward or backwards on the z-axis of the Chart
