Volumetric font size

Is there a way to adjust the font size on the volumetric bars? I have 4k monitors and the prints are very small.

If not this could be a suggestion for one of the new updates.

Thank you for writing in.

When it comes to Volumetric bars the text is limited to the physical render of the bars. If you click and drag your mouse cursor along the bottom margin where the chart's time is, it will expand the width of the bar which will increase the text size as well.

Hi - I've similar problem and increasing the width of the bar address the problem but you end up with a thick bar and it occupies more space. I've seen custom indicators by 3rd parties where they provide to change the font size and it looks better. Can you provide flexibility to change the font size?

Btw, Is there a page where you list all the SFTs with some description, number of votes and order of priority? I see for most of the requests there is a SFT and some standard language referring to release notes. It is not easy for us to check all these SFTs by sending an email or checking the release notes. At the minimum could you please provide the list with description for all SFTs in one location

The ID this SFT is tracked under is SFT-3024 - I have also submitted an additional vote in this regard on your behalf.

At the current time, our feature requests are tracked within a platform that is not publicly accessible (JIRA).

Furthermore, as many of the feature requests are not necessarily in a format that would be understandable to the public but is generally held in a 'developer speech', it would take significant effort to adjust this system and make it publicly accessible.

While I can definitely see this happening in the future, we don't currently have a plan to enable this, I hope for your understanding.

To Ninjatrader Support, can you at least make the font the same for the statistical section of each bar and the actual bar font, see pic attached.
as you can see there is a difference from the bar information font to the statistical information at the bottom.
the bar information font size is unreadable and when you expand it out the statistical font is too large. they should be the same at the minimum if there is no option to set the font size by selection of the size vs. moving the bar at the bottom. At the minimum the font size should be the same across the bar…….. pic attached – it self explanatory.

a possible solution for development to implement and still keep the capabilities of auto sizing the text, as it is currently working, would be to be able have 3 choices for text size. Small / Medium / Large. What you currently have is horrible as the only option.

absolutely agree with joromero,
it should not be too hard to implement that option.
for given bar width the user can select S,M,L font and see what works best for them. but if you going to fix this issue you may just as well inset the font option sizing,
possibly constricting the text by given bar width. so if the font is too large its again will be hard to read, just like what you have now with the small font.
