8.0.19 Wrong timestamps downloading historical minute data from IQfeed

    8.0.19 Wrong timestamps downloading historical minute data from IQfeed

    Hello,

    I have installed 8.0.19.0 during the weekend and downloaded last 5 days of minute data for YM 12-19 to update my database.
    I have then noticed that timestamps where wrong (see screenshot 1) as it seems that each minute has been timestamped with starting time of minute instead of ending time as usual.

    As a counter proof I reverted to 8.0.18.1 and downloaded data again.

    This time timestamps where as usual (see screenshot 2)

    Comparing second and third row of wrong data with first and second row of good data seems to confirm my hypothesis that the timestamps are downloaded wrong.

    IQfeed client 6.1.0.20 in both cases.

    Any clue about that?

    I've tested this on my end and had the same results. I'm gathering some further data for our development team and will check with them to see what may be occurring. I'll let you know as soon as I have more information.

      Thank you for your patience.

      I've heard back from my development team that revision 8.0.19.1 will resolve this issue, but I don't have a release date for that yet (I'd imagine it will be within a few weeks). I would recommend that you remain on your reverted 18.1 version until 19.1 is released to avoid these erroneous timestamps. When it is released, as usual we'll be posting an update in the News and Announcements section of the forum.

        Thank you for your patience.

        I've just gotten word that revision 8.0.19.1 has been released. Please update to this latest version and test to see if you get the correct timestamps:
        • First, copy your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
        • Click on the link: http://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
        • Enter your license key and press Submit
        • Select 'NinjaTrader 8'
        • Select 'Download'
        • Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.
