    sync drawings across charts

If I have more than one tab of the same instrument, am I able to sync drawings across the charts? So if I draw a horizontal line one chart, it will appear on the others.

    Hello Grantx,

    Thanks for your post.

Yes, this can be done (tabbed or not) by setting the drawn object as a global draw object. Once set, it will appear on all charts of the same instrument unless in the data series of the chart you specifically change the property of "show global draw objects" to be unchecked. This selection can be helpful when you do not want a globally drawn object to appear on specific charts.

To set a drawn object to global, double left-click on the object to open the "Drawing Objects" window and the selected objects properties will be shown. The property 'Attach to" will show the current chart, left click the drop down to select "All charts".

Note: if you move or delete the object on any chart, it will similarly be moved or deleted on all charts.

Globally draw lines will be saved on the chart when you save the workspace.

You can review further details and helpful tips in the help guide section, "Understanding local vs. global drawing objects" in this page: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help..._tools__ob.htm

Is it possible to draw global objects by default?
