    Alert's Pop Up Dialog flies away

    And becomes inaccessible, I made a video showing this happening, it's on Google Drive:

    Thanks for posting to the forum.

    As a first troubleshooter to resolve this, please uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader 8. Following these steps will not affect your data, settings, configuration, NinjaScripts, Workspaces, etc.
    • First, save your license key to a document
    • You can locate your license key by going to Help> License Key
    • Now, exit NinjaTrader and uninstall NinjaTrader within Windows Control Center
    • Once uninstalled you can re-download NinjaTrader from the link below:
    • Paste your license key > Select Submit
    • Download and then run the installer

    Please let us know if you see the same afterwards.

        Thanks for your reply.

        Please right click on the window thumbnail and select 'Move' next, click the left arrow key on your keyboard and the window should appear. Move it to a point on the screen desired and try again to see if this keep the window plated on this screen, or if it moves again.

          Moving the window with arrows keeps it placed on the screen.

            Does the issue persist after returning the dialog box to this screen? Can you save the workspace once you have done this, shut down the workspace, and reopen the workspace and test for the issue again?

              What do you mean "after returning"? After returning from where?

              If I re-open closed workspace, the alert dialog pops up again and it behaves the same way as before.

                I'd like to take a look at your log and trace files for this issue. These files contain diagnostic information related to what is occurring on your platform that will help us resolve this issue in a timely manner.

                Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "ATTN Marco G" in the subject line and a link to this forum post in the message body so I may investigate this matter further.

                Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
                Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
                Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
                Once you have emailed these to us, you may delete these compressed folders.

                  E-mail sent, both folders in the same archive.

                  If needed, I'm ok with using TeamViewer to resolve the issue.

                  Do you experience the same behaviour with alert pop up dialogs?
