    Mouse wheel scrollback sensitivity

    Hello,

Could you please tell me how to increase the X bars back scroll when using the mouse wheel on NT8 chart.
It looks like by default there is only 1 bar back scroll per 1 mouse wheel delta move (this is very uncomfortable).
It takes me like 8-10 seconds to get to the beginning of the daily session and make my fingers hurt.

Also when using dynamic dome indicators that cover all chart with objects, no other way to scroll back apart from
mouse wheel (so no need to suggest other scrollback alternative).

Hopefully there is a workaround for my issue, Please Help!!

If X bar back scroll is not implemented yet, could you please add it for implementation list ASAP.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

Thanks for posting to the forums.

You would need to adjust the scroll speed of your mouse in order to decrease or increase the scrolling speed.

This is a windows setting found by pressing the windows key, searching "Mouse Settings" and increasing the "Choose how many lines to scroll each time" setting.

Please let me know if I may be of any further assistance.

      Hello Marco!

Thank you very much for your reply, I appreciate it.

If we change mouse sensitivity in Windows settings, it's going to be applied for all the apps including browser,
which would be just hell to use PC for other things, even simple forexfactory news check, hence this approach
      is not possible.

I am very surprised NT developers have not thought this through. If you take any platform even simple MT4/5,
they increased sensitivity from 1 to 20 bars by default (which is very good, not ideal as no X option). But leaving
1 line/bar by default is ridiculous.

Could you please include this option in new NT8 update.
Loads of traders certainly would appreciate it.

      Thank you.

      Sincerely Yours, Andrew

To be clear, one mouse scroll 'click' scrolls three bars. This scrolling feature is purposefully designed to be this precise. There are other options for scrolling back in time discussed in the help guide:

Ctrl + Scroll Wheel is better, 9 bars at a time. Thanks for that.
It's a pitty about purposefully designed 3 bars. Not all NT users
are a scalpers to scroll back footprint charts. If you are looking at
M5 or higher timeframe without footprint style for analysis, 3 or 9
bars are not handy and time consuming. Please consider to have X
bars back option instead of 3. Thank you.

Changing the Mouse wheel sensitivity does work on NT8, still 3 bars move.
Please add X imput in NT8.
It's really time consumming as it is right now.
And the drawback with the Ctrl+Mouse Wheel is that you still can't have a definite way to move the Chart to suit your custom number of bars move need.
For example, I'd like to be able to move my charts in a fixed way:
on a 5 minutes chart, have it move the exact amount of bars needed to scroll 1 day's worth of the 5 minutes bars, so that I see a whole new day bars with one mouse wheel increment move.
Or do you know of another way to achieve that?
                Thanks.

FrankSert , what you desire is not possible currently. This is what SFT-460 is for. I'll add your vote.

jumping in here... i'ld actually like to be able to use the scroll wheel to move 1 bar at a time - an open number setting defaulting to 3 in Options would be great

Hard coding is substandard software design, the table below should have been built into the UI.
Failing that, at least it should have been parameterized into xml.

+1 from me as well. The scroll speed should be adjustable by means of a user-configurable value.
