Illegal characters in path (Panic) message when connecting to IQFeed

    Illegal characters in path (Panic) message when connecting to IQFeed

    After installing NT8 I tried to connect to IQFeed (the connection manager is running on my PC) but am getting the following error each time I try:

    IQFeed: Error in opening connection IQFeed, exception caught:Illegal characters in path. (Panic)

    Can anyone give me some pointers?

    Which IQFeed Client Software version are you using? For NinjaTrader 8, you must have IQFeed Client Software version 6.1.0.20 installed - Download

      I can confirm that I am already running v 6.1.0.20

      I am able to connect to it via NT7 fine but NT8 gives the error above.

        Could you please send the log and trace from your platform to look further into this inquiry.

        To send me your log and trace files from within NinjaTrader. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Email Support in NinjaTrader. Put '2298351 Att Shawn', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'. Also, give a reference of this thread in the body of the email.
