Chart Trader and Average Price

Hello staff,

Is there a way to show each individual trade of a position on the chart instead of the average price?
How do I exit specific trades when I am in multiple ones?

Positions in the same instrument and account will always display an average entry price.

When trading live, this information is coming directly from your broker and cannot be manipulated. Most brokers operate on a FIFO (first in, first out) method, however, you should contact your broker to confirm,

When trading in simulation, you have some control over the average position price (FIFO or LIFO), but cannot necessarily 'show individual trades' as you are wanting to see. You'll find the 'Use FIFO for position average price calculations' property within the Control Center > Tools > Options > Trading section. Here is the definition of this option from the help guide:

Sets if the position average entry price will be based on the FIFO (First in First Out) or if this will retain the average entry when scaling out. At this time this setting only affects the simulation account and requires reconnecting to go into effect. For live accounts, you would need to see if your broker can adjust this on their end.

With that said, if you want to see historical trade information, the best tool would be the Trade Performance window. More on that tool can be found here:

Are there any updates regarding SFT-3332 specifically a way to show each individual trade of a position on the chart instead of the average price?

There is no update on this feature request other than that we're still tracking interest in it. I am not aware of any way to split the average entry price into individual positions when you have more than one quantity.
