GC 12-18 Chart Not Loading

Hello,

I'm having trouble viewing a GC 12-18 chart. June and August contracts show up just fine but when I switch to 12-18, it only shows 1 data point on the far right edge and starts drawing the chart as trades occur real time with no historical data.

I've reloaded historical data, restart NT, reinstalled - nothing fixes it. Data shows up properly in the DOM, it just doesn't on the chart.

Any ideas on how to fix?

NinjaTrader is not recording data for this instrument as it is more than 6 months in the future.

This means if you want to see historical data for this instrument, you will need to record this yourself from real-time data.

Tools -> Options -> Market data -> Real-time -> check to enable 'Record live data as historical'

Is this a platform limitation or specific to individual brokers/data feeds? Meaning, if I were connected to Interactive Brokers instead of Continuum, would I have access to that contract's historical data?

Hello fiddich,

I would not be able to answer this question for other feeds.

I would recommend contacting each company you are interested in and asking how far in the future they record historical data for.
