Whether I have a datafeed open or not (for example, "Kinetick End of Day (free)"), try this please:
- Create new chart, for dataseries ^DJI (the Dow Jones Industrial), Daily chart.
- Add dataseries YM ##-## (the Dow e-mini). Set it also to a Daily chart.
- Change the YM's panel to 1, so that it is superimposed on the ^DJI.
Try drawing a vertical line on the chart. So far so good.
- Now repeat the same procedure, but set the "Days to Load" for YM to just 1 day.
The moment I draw a Vertical Line NT8 starts throwing an unstoppable stream of errors. The log tab in the control center starts filling up with this message:
"Unhandled exception: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index"
but I can't access any windows from then on, and even trying to launch the Windows Task Manager becomes difficult. The only way to stop the errors is to kill Ninjatrader process in Task Manager.
The same happens with other combinations, for example ^SP500/ES ##-##.
It does NOT happen if the "Days to load" parameter is 2 days or more, or if the second dataseries is added into a separate panel.
Can someone else replicate this error or is something wrong in my NT installation? No other workspaces/charts are open when this happens.
