Placing trades on chart

Is there a way to place a trade on the chart along the lines of pressing a key and then clicking on the chart at a price level while it is in chart trader mode? Maybe it could be done by setting up a hot key? Maybe I am missing something.

Using chart trader where you right click and then scroll down to pick the buy or sell seems prone to errors and using the DOM means you have to look away from the chart.

Thanks for your post.

At this time there is no way to do this. There is however an active feature request to implement "one-click order entry" with hot keys. Would you like me to add your vote for that feature request?

yngtrader.....You could go to Hot Keys > Order entry > Custom Orders and set up a Buy or Sell order with no price offset....(screen shot example below) ....this will give you an immediate fill when you hit your selected Hot Key.... is this perhaps what you are looking for ...... ??
