New to NinjaTrader: how to import data and trades

Hi I'm new to NinjaTrader, and I'm considering using the product.

I've browsed through the helpguide

but I'm not finding the answer to my "problem".

In a first step, I would like to visualize data series + TRADES generated externally to the NJT platform.
I've seen its possible to import historical data, but can I import "historical trades" ? so that these trades would be visualized on the chart (for example with up arrows for "Buy" and down arrows for sell)
If it is not possible to possible to import trades, is there an easy get-around using NinjaScript ?

The short answer is no. There wouldn't be a supported method to bulk import historical trades via NinjaScript or just natively through the platform.

However, you may manually create an execution individually using the Trade Performance window:

These would need to be input manually, one at a time.

I have trades registed in Trade Performance window executed via DOM with ATM strategy under Sim101 account, the ATM strategies used are listed in Templates section, with option to filter by ATM strategies used, at top right corner of Trader Performance window.
For manually input trades in Trade Performance window, is there a way to input the 'Template' information?

Thank you for the reply. Not sure if I expressed the idea clearly.

I mean, for manually input trades in Trade Performance windows, is there anyway (manuallly, script or others) to input the 'Stratgey' information along with other attributes like qty, price, action, time. As this can serve as a filter to know performance of different 'Strategy'.

In addition, how will these inputed trades affections measurments attributes, 'Position', 'P&L', in the Trade Performance windows?

There is not a method to specify strategy information for manually entered executions.

Manually entered executions will affect the position and P&L in the trade performance window as if they had been taken live.
