Atm Strategy stop / target size change
When you try to adjust the size of an Atm Strategy stop or target order through the Chart Trader flag you will get the following error popup: "You can't change the size of a predefined strategy stop/target order. To create a new order, set the strategy selector to <None> and place your order."
However, you are allowed to change size of these order types through the control panel orders tab. Why the difference?Tags: None

Hi martyn73, thanks for your post.
I'm not seeing where you have an option to increase the order size. You can increase/decrease the price but there is no option to change the quantity. If you need to increase the size of the position through chart trader and still use the ATM, select the ATM strategy and submit an additional entry order.Chris L.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Hello martyn73, thanks for your reply.
From chart trader, it would be recommended to submit a new order with the active ATM strategy selected. This way all orders will be given the same quantity instead of just the stop and target orders getting an increased quantity.Chris L.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Hello martyn73,
Thanks for the question.
The Orders tab allows for direct modification of the order while Chart Trader and the SuperDOM will protect the user from modifying the quantity outside the bounds of the ATM strategy. This would be the behavior noted in our specifications and matches the behavior for NinjaTrader 7, so freely modifying the order from the Orders grid would be expected.
Let us know if you have any additional questions.JimNinjaTrader Customer Service
