Ninja 8 Trade Performance Export Data

Hi,

I need to export the trade data so I can import into Tradelog via a csv file. When I export it gives both date and time stamp in the date column. I just need the date. How do I remove the timestamp? Tradelog says the date is invalid format.

Hi Todd, thanks for your note, and welcome to the NinjaTrader forum.

That type of editing would need to get done through excel itself, there's no way to change the formatting pre-export. I found this video that might be helpful for solving this:

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately that video doesn't help. The date and timestamp fill one cell. You guys should change that so the date is in one cell and the timestamp is in another. There are a few reasons you should do this. First, so people who need to get rid of one part and keep the other can just delete the column. As it is right now, I will need to manually delete the data I don't want in each cell. I've got a bunch of trades so this is a lot of work. #2 Tradelog would accept the timestamp if it were contained in it's own cell. #3 It just makes sense to have different data contained in different cells as date and time are two different data points.
