^VIX overnight

Hi,

Need help on getting ^VIX overnight data. I have a multibroker key with ^VIX data coming from TD Ameritrade account. On the Thinkorswim platform, I do get ^VIX overnight data as attached screenshot, but on ninjatrader charts for the ^VIX, it doesn't plot the overnight data?

If the data is coming from Ameritrade, why ninjatrader doesn't plot it on the charts? Thanks.

Thanks for writing in today.

This sounds like it may be due to your Trading Hours template; if you right click on the chart> Data Series> change the Trading Hours to "Default 24/7" this should plot all available data for this chart.

Thanks for your reply. I had already tried that in the instrument settings but still it doesn't plot the data. There is overnight session from 2:15 a.m. CT and 8:15 a.m. CT. Thinkorswim plots this but ninjatrader doesn't.

Thanks for your call Tyler, as per our conversation have emailed Ameritrade for why the overnight data is missing and will keep you posted. Also, I feel even Ninjatrader should investigate and contact Ameritrade for the possible cause. Thanks.
