    Simulated Data Feed fails

    I can no longer use Simulated Data to test my strategies... When I try to change the connection to Simulated Data I get an error (pic attached), how can I fix this issue.
    NT8 latest version 8.0.20.0 64-bit

    Hello RonnieB,

    It appears your configuration file may have become corrupted. As a test, shutdown NinjaTrader and go to Documents/NinjaTrader 8 and right click the config file and rename it to configOLD.

    Then start NinjaTrader 8 again and attempt to connect to the simulated data feed. Does the issue persist?

      The issue persists and I've lost all my custom adjustments, can I change the config back to the initial one for now?

      Also it had to migrate NT7 data etc, after changing out the config file which seems odd to me

        Hello,

        You can rename this file back to config and delete the one that was created to restore your settings.

        Can you write into platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and attach your log and trace files via the instructions below?
        • Open your NinjaTrader folder under, "Documents" (sometimes called, "My Documents")
        • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
        • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
        • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
