Aside from the general "you shouldn't run multiple strategies on the same instrument/account combination at the same time", no, there's not a hard limit on how many strategies you can run simultaneously. It would depend on your computer how many could be operating at once, as well as the complexity of the strategies you're using and how often they are calculating values. You could likely run far more copies of a simple strategy that calculates on each tick versus a more complex strategy that uses several data series and calculates on each tick.

Is it supported to have two different Strategies running on different accounts, (and different charts) with the same instrument?
Also when doing this, how can I get NT to just show the attached strategies trades on the chart, instead of all trades taken on that instrument?

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, you can absolutely run two strategies on different accounts using the same instrument - that's totally fine. Just make sure that when you set up the strategy the desired account is selected in the account dropdown in Chart Trader. When you run a strategy on a chart, only trades taken by that particular instance of the strategy will show up.

Probleme mit Strategie über das Wochenende zu bringen.

Hallo,

ich teste meine Strategie mit verschiedenen Instrumenten (Forex) auf dem Demo Konto. Es funktionier alles super. Bis zum Wochenende. Am Wochenende werden einige Strategien deaktiviert, nicht alle, und müssen wieder manuell aktiviert werden. Offene Positionen, die ich über das Wochenende bringe, werden von der Strategie nicht mehr beachtet. Nicht mehr geschlossen.Unabhängig davon, ob die Strategie inzwischen deaktiviert wurde oder nicht.

2. Alle Trades werden am Wochenende gelöscht und die Strategien arbeiten von neu, während die Gewinne und Verluste auf dem Konto bestehen bleiben. Ist es möglich die Daten auch in dem Strategie Fenster bestehen lassen?

The main thing to look at here would be the Connection Loss Handling property in the Strategy:

More than likely, if it's specifically occurring over the weekend, it's happening due to maintenance on the connection. I would recommend to try using ConnectionLossHandling.KeepRunning for this setting - in case of disconnect, the strategy will simply keep running until new data comes in.

If a strategy is stopped and restarted, it starts over with freshly calculated data in the Strategy Performance window - if your strategy does not stop running on disconnect, as above, you wouldn't need to worry about this until you choose to stop the strategy.
