    Hello rakurajput,

If you are importing data into NinjaTrader, you may want to contact the source of that data to inform them this data is incorrect.

      Hi,

I have imported the data on my own, there is only date on that data no time stamp. Have already attached the file which i have uploaded in post#15 .
Please have a look at the data. there is only 1 open high low close for one date.

        Hello rakurajput,

In the file you have provided I am seeing:

        20190103;10796.8;10814.05;10661.25;10672.25;1
        20190104;10699.7;10741.05;10628.65;10727.35;1
        20190107;10804.85;10835.95;10750.15;10771.8;1
        20190108;10786.25;10818.45;10733.25;10802.15;1

That I can see, this is not the data imported into NinjaTrader.

Are you certain this was the data that was imported?
Are you certain you are looking at imported data and not data downloaded from a connected provider?

I would be expecting an open of 10699.7 based on the file in post #15

You may want to delete the data, disconnect from all connections, and re-import it. Then check the Tools -> Historical Data -> Edit -> Historical window and ensure the data imported and matches the file.

That said, in your screenshot the Data Box is showing 01-05-2019. However, the chart time scale is showing dates of what appears to be March first.
As you move the mouse over the bars, are you seeing the databox is reflecting the time of the bar shown in the time scale?

          Hi,

20190104 this is in the form of YYYYMMDD.

Yes i am sure that this is the imported data. and yes i am looking at imported data only. i do not have any connected provider.
I simply download data from exchange website and manually upload the same.

Also, have deleted data from day folder in DB. and re import the same,

          still the same issue.
If you want i can share my screen and you guys can check whole system.

            Hello rakurajput,

Yes, this is correct for the content format.
            https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...AndDataFormats

This would be 2019, January, 4th.

            The open is 10699.7.

10699.7 is not equal to 11748.75 which is shown in the Data Box in your screenshot.
Whatever is on the chart, is not the same values from the file.

The screenshot is showing January 5th, of which there is no bar for.
So this may be showing January 5th from the time zone conversion from UTC to your time zone depending on your location.

The filename is NIFTY.Last.txt. This means it will be imported as an equity (stock).

This would not be an index as there is no caret ^ symbol. For example ^NIFTY.Last.txt. And this would not be a future as there is no contract expiry month. For example NIFTY 12-18.Last.txt.

Have you created a new instrument as an equity? (The chart appears to be loading as an equity as there is no caret and no expiry)

May I have a screenshot of the data removed?

And then a screenshot after the data is re-imported?

The screenshot is showing 1st May in previous poste. as in India date format of our system(computer) is ddmmyyyy.
PFA screenshot for your reference of dates.

Yes this is imported as a stock. and this is no future and no expiry.

Yes have created a new instrument as equity.

                Hello rakurajput,

Thank you for clarifying the date format on the chart.

The file you have provided is showing:

                20190426;11683.75;11762.9;11661.75;11754.65;1
                20190430;11748.75;11756.25;11655.9;11748.15;1
                20190502;11725.55;11789.3;11699.55;11724.75;1
                20190503;11722.6;11770.9;11699.35;11712.25;1

There isn't a bar for may 1st, so the data box is showing april 30th and this may be due to converting the time zone.

From the screenshot in post #13 the open high low and close appear to be matching these values.

Are you expecting the values to be different?
