    Troubleshooting why a strategy won't enable in chart properties...

    Hello,

    I have a Strategy that won't enable in my chart.... Other than a data connection which I do have... What are the other reasons why a strategy won't enable.? The check mark dissapears after I click "OK" in the Order Confirmation Window....

    Thanks for posting.

    Is Chart Trader enabled on the chart?

    Are you able to enable the built-in 'SampleMACrossover' strategy?

      To answer your question... Yes.. SampleMACrossover does enable... It must be in my coding in the Strategy thats the problem... I can't figure out what I did wrong..

          Thanks for your reply.

          The first thing I would recommend looking at is whether any error messages appear within the Logs tab at the time the strategy fails to enable. If this doesn't get you on the right path, please send me your log and trace files so that I may look into what occurred.

          You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

          Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.
