    Failed connection with Interactive Brokers

    Team,

    can you please verify the below message? I was logged in all day long to my IB account via NT8 and suddenly seconds before the cash close it disconnected.

    attached is the screen shot from the message.

    Thank you for your post.

    What version of TWS or IB Gateway are you using? You can find this on the splash screen when whichever you've got installed starts up.

    Are there any additional errors in the log if you scroll down further?

      Hi Kate,
      cannot login now to TWS as they have scheduled maintenance. I suspect that this might have been an issue but strange that it happened during the session.
      All I could find on my PC is that I have latest TWS (978.1h) 20200107. not sure whether this is what you are asking for?

      I didn't see any other errors in the log. NT8 apart from the connection issue was behaving as expected.

        Thank you for your reply.

        The required version for use with NinjaTrader is TWS 973.2 which may be downloaded from the link below:

        Please uninstall your current TWS version and install this one - as IB updates TWS more often than we can update the connection adapter in NinjaTrader, the version you can download above does not automatically update like versions you download directly from them. If you use the self-updating version, you can experience issues like you've mentioned above.

        Once you've installed the correct version and it's not in the scheduled maintenance period, please test.
