Ask=Bid=1 at all times in Playback mode

    Ask=Bid=1 at all times in Playback mode

    Hello,
    How do I need to setup my Ask/Bid charts (in Playback mode) for them to show the actual Volume recorded in the database?

    With the settings in the screenshot I get Ask=Bid=1 at all times, which is not what I can see in the database.(please see the 1st screenshot)
    Nevertheless, when NT8 starts (no connection on), the Bid/Ask volume is right (2nd screenshot).

    Hello utilizator,

    When using the playback connection can you tell me if you have ''Market Replay" or "Historical" enabled in the playback controller. If you have "Market Replay" enabled can you enable "Historical" and let me know if this matches what you see in your local database.

      Hi Christopher,

      Thank you for your reply. I am using Historical data only.
      Attached is a screenshot from the database where we can see that Ask has regular values.
      With Playback, Ask=1 at all times on chart(and Bid=1 as well for that matter). Thank you.

        Can you tell me what data provider you are connected to when downloading your historical data.

          Hi Christopher,

          It's Kinetick. Once the Ask/Bid is recorded in the database, does it matter for the Playback from what data provider it came? Thank you.

              Currently when using Playback the Volume at the Bid/Ask will use a value of 1 therefore this is expected behavior. I have submitted this as a suggestion to our development team to use the value seen in the Historical Data window and will follow up as soon as a tracking number has been assigned.
