Chart Instrument link logic

If I have several tabs in the chart window and I require to link them to the DOM, so that the chart is a master and DOM is a slave, i.e. when I change the tab in the chart window -> DOM turns to exact instrument. So far it comes vice versa - DOM feeds the chart so that I should change the instrument in the DOM every time and this confuses the picture...

Thanks for posting.

When using Instrument Link, there is no 'master' or 'slave'- changing the instrument in any linked window will cause the rest to change as well. Since you're using tabs in your chart, you would need to set each tab to use the same instrument link color if you wish the link to be applied.

So, is my understanding correct: I cannot link several tabs from chart window to the same DOM? If not, please could you demonstrate how to realize this?

Each tab can have its own instrument link color, so as long as you go through each tab and set their color to be the same, they will all be linked to a SuperDOM window (or any other window) with the same instrument link color.
