    Protect with a password

    Hi,

Is it possible to make NT8 password-protected at login? When NT8 is started, it asks for a password. How to do this?

    Thanks!

    Hello Lester,
The password that is being requested is for your data provider. I would advise you to left-click the skip button. This will take you to the Control Center.
To assist you from here I need to know some sensitive information, I am advising you to write our platform support department and request James.
Please email platform support at: [email protected]
I look forward to hearing from you.

      Hello Lester,
Per our emails when you wrote into [email protected] per my request.
Unfortunately, the NinjaTrader platform does not have a way to set up a password to access the platform. The security is that you would have to manually connect to the data feed and change it to a brokerage account from the simulation account.

I have submitted this as a feature request to the Development Team. I will follow up with an internal tracking number for your reference as soon as it is created.

Thanks in advance for your patience.

There's a previous post about this from a few years ago.

There was a slick solution if I remember with a 3rd party software.

Other than that you should be using separate Windows accounts if you are sharing the computer with some one else.
