What is the latest compatible IB TWS version with NT8 ?

Thank you for your post.

According to our connection guide to Interactive Brokers for the latest version of NinjaTrader 8, you must have at least one of the following standalone Interactive Brokers API Software versions installed (browser versions are not supported):

• TWS 973.2
• IB Gateway 973.2h

If you need to update to the latest version of NinjaTrader 8, please follow the instructions below

• First, copy your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader

• Select 'NinjaTrader 8'
• Select 'Download'
• Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.

Hi Brendan, thanks for the info, however, what I'd like to know as well is what is the most updated TWS version compatible with NT8 ? Ii it simply the latest that IB has released?

Thank you for posting with that follow-up question.

The versions that I had listed are the versions that would be needed to create an Interactive Brokers connection. Please note that Interactive Brokers may have released an updated version of TWS however the version needed to connect with NinjaTrader 8 is TWS 973.2. Hi Brendan.

I was in the IB webpage to check TWS versions. It turns out that the latest stable version is the: 972.1v and the latest version is 978.1i . So I wonder, if IB considers as the stable version the 972.1v, Have you had not any issue with the version suggested by you: 973.2h ?

Thank you for responding with those additional notes.
I am not aware of any other versions that would be compatible with NinjaTrader 8 besides the versions I have listed which are the current versions that create a successful connection (as are listed in the connection guide).
I was able to find the following quote from Interactive Brokers public website regarding the version of TWS to use:

A: No. There is an inherent lag between the time IB releases a TWS update and that at which any third-party vendor can reasonably respond with a corresponding software upgrade.
