No real time data for Live trading account

    No real time data for Live trading account

    Hi,

    I have NinjaTrader lifetime licence and live Continuum connection and i have been using it in a long time now. I just setup everything and connected to the live trading account, but i see no data in DOM as well as in the L2 window, can some one please help me with what i am missing?

    Thank you for the post.

    Do you see any errors in the log tab of your Control Center?

    What instrument and expiry (if applicable) are you trying to pull up on the DOM?

    Can you pull up a chart of this instrument and get real-time data?

      Hi Chris, There is no errors in the Log. I am trying to pull ES 09-18 in the DOM. Chart for the same instrument is loading but no real time update, i have to refresh the chart to see the current price.

        Thanks for the reply.

        Check to see if you are on the current version of NinjaTrader 8 by going to Help>About.
        If you are not up to date, please see the instructions below on updating:
        1. First, copy your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
        2. Click on the link: http://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
        3. Enter your license key and press Submit
        4. Select 'NinjaTrader 8'
        5. Select 'Download'
        6. Run the installer, ensuring NinjaTrader is closed.


        If that is not the cause, please send us an email by going to Help>Email Support, and paste the link to this forum thread in the body of the email. Ensure the "Log and Trace files" option is clicked.

          I already have the latest version installed in my machine, but i still went ahead and reinstalled and still see the same problem. Sent an email from NinjaTrader as requested, please resolve this issue as soon as possible.

            This is a follow-up post. We were able to determine that you need to fill out additional information with your broker to get live data.
