    Unable to connect to the remote server (logon failed)

    Just signed up for a demo futures account yesterday, and downloaded/ installed Ninja Trader 8.

    Worked perfectly yesterday.

    This morning, I can't connect to the NinjaTrader Continuum (Demo) server.

    Error message: Unable to connect to the remote server (logon failed).

    Ran tracert demo.cqgtrader.com in command prompt (Windows 10), here's what it spat out:

    Checked my firewall settings, and all incoming Ninja Trader connections are allowed.

    Not sure what's going on, would appreciate the help - thanks .

    Welcome to the NinjaTrader Forums!

    This message was posted during the weekend when many servers are undergoing maintenance.

    Typically there is maintenance on the weekend with most brokerage servers on Friday night and / or Saturday.

    Most brokerages will have the maintenance completed Sunday before market open. You will need to restart NinjaTrader if NinjaTrader is open during this time.

    If you are still unable to connect, restart your internet modem, and (if a separate device) router, and also restart the Computer.

    Let me know if after market open if you are unable to connect.
