    Nyse $tick

    When plotting the the NYSE $TICK, the chart does NOT update automatically with new tick data. Will only update if "forced manually." Is there a setting that will allow the automatic update?

    Thanks for the post.

    Please check the log tab of the Control Center for errors.

    If there are no errors, this could be caused some faulty item in your NinjaTrader cache.

    Please reset your cache using these steps:
    1. Shut down NinjaTrader.
    2. Open the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > db folder.
    3. Delete the sub-folder named 'cache'.
    4. Restart NinjaTrader and test the tick index again.

      Chris,

      I'm not getting any obvious error messages under the Log tab. At least I can confirm that the data is coming in, jut NOT automatically updating on the chart.

        Chris,

        Sorry, but I am seeing an error message after all. It says "Failed to resolve instrument for market data: DJTIC is not enabled for real-time quotes and trading." Why is that?

          Thanks for the reply.

          Who is your data provider? Note that the NinjaTrader Continuum Demo connection is not enabled for index instruments.
