Hello,

I have a question concerning NinjaScriptEditor please. The purpose of the search function is to find "something", easily and fast.

But the color of that mark is not really different and showy from the letters in the code.

As a code often consists of more than a few lines (even on the current screen section) it is hard to find.

One can easily find it when one knows where it is what it is about... But this is not the purpose when one knows.

(as it is easy to find the key for the car when you know where it is)

One has to go over all lines in the code on the screen to find the light blue opacity? backcolored search result

Can the properties/colors be changed?

Yes, the question seems ridiculous or if I would have too much time and writing posts in forum of NinjaTrader or how to bake Christmas Cookies....it seems, but I dont have...

Thanks for your post.

One change that you can make quickly would be to change the application skin color which will effect all of the application windows and it may be that a different skin will allow the blue highlight to show better. I will create a feature request to provide for options to select/change the highlight color in the editor. I'll update this thread when I have further information.

The feature request is identified as SFT-3751, "NinjaScript Editor: "Find and replace" properties".

Feature request may or may not be implemented and are a means to track user interest in a feature.

If implemented, the feature would be listed in the "Release notes" of the version it i first released in.

I've tried to find and change the highlighted text color of the NinjaScript editor via the skin XAML file. Am I to understand from the above feature request that there is no way to modify the skin file to improve selected text highlighting in the editor?

Please add my vote.
And can this request please be extended to also address the issue highlighted in the attached?
Who had the "briliant" idea to plot black text on a brown background?
Unless an eye exam is intended, can this please be turned into something easier to decipher, e.g. white (negative color) on brown?
Or even better, completely customizable for each individual user.
