Drawing Template Hot keys or similar

Hello. I am trying to set up multiple templates for manual Line drawings on the chart, but can't find a way to quickly apply different templates of the same drawing tool. I would preferably have a hot key which would allow me to automatically start drawing with a specific tool set to a specific template. This is the way most other platforms function. I have seen several of the same functionality requests in this forum going back years, but can't find any with a solution other than changing the default which only solves it for one template.

I would at least like a way to quickly select templates with custom buttons on the toolbar or similar. https://ninjatrader.com/support/foru...considerations seems to maybe do this, but I'm not sure if I can add templated drawings as a custom button. If I can add a drawing template to any of these buttons, which of these would add to the existing toolbar of a chart? Or, do they all take up more chart space?

Is there really no way yet to quickly apply several different types of line with a specific look other than to draw each one and then right click, properties, apply template? Must every line be drawn one way and then changed to be what it should have been drawn as in the first place? Am I missing something somewhere?

Though you can setup templates for drawing objects, only the template named 'Default' will be loaded automatically.

With a template named Default, any drawing tool drawn with a hotkey would use that template. (In 8.0.21.0 there is a 'Save as Default' button when saving a template which will save with this name)

Selecting a template from the drawing tool menu on the chart toolbar is not a feature NinjaTrader has at this time. We are currently tracking demand with ID# SFT-1701 and I will add your vote to this.

It might be possible to achieve this with a custom drawing toolbar indicator. You may want to look through the NinjaTrader Ecosystem to see if any affiliate consultants have one available.

I would also like to be added to the list. I have saved different fib bonaci settings and would like to be able to hot key each one for different setups. takes way to long to go in and load the saved one to be useful.

This feature has been asked about for 4 years now, what's the status of this? anyway we can push this faster?
