Chart don't load nor display data, with InteractiveBrokers connection

Hi,
I have an Interactive Brokers paper connection, but when I open a new chart with GOAU futures, doesn't load anything. But in his platform it does.
Why I can't load this data in NT8? and What can I do?

What instrument symbol and expiry are you entering into NinjaTrader? Are you using 'GOAU' in your charts?

Thank you for your post.

This may not be correct for NinjaTrader. If this is a Futures instrument, it would need to have the instrument symbol followed by the current month and year of the expiry separated with a hyphen. For example, ES 03-20 or NQ 03-20.

You can also search the platform for the instrument. If you are using the latest version of NinjaTrader 8. You can check your NinjaTrader version by going Help > About. The latest version of NinjaTrader 8 is 8.0.21.0. In the instrument selection area of your order entry window. Clear the text inside of the Instrument box and type the symbol of the instrument you want to use and select the Futures instrument you want to use to load it in the order entry window.

You would have to add this instrument to the platform. To add an instrument to your database that is not located in the preloaded lists, please follow these steps:

• Navigate to the Control Center > Tools > Instruments window.
• Left-click on the ‘add’ button that appears near the lower right-hand corner of the Instruments window.
• Enter instrument-specific symbol mapping, exchanges, and other information on the Instrument editor that appears. This information will largely depend on your broker or data feed provider’s specific settings regarding the instrument in question.
• Left-click the OK button once each field has been filled out with correct information.

The new instrument has now been created in your database. Should you wish to add this instrument to an instrument list:

• Navigate to the Control Center > Tools > Instruments Lists window.
• Left-click to select the instrument list that you wish to add this instrument to in the left panel, then left-click on the ‘add’ button at the bottom of the right-hand panel.
• Type the name and (if applicable) front month of your instrument in the search field that appears. Press the Enter button on your keyboard to confirm this change.
• Left-click the OK button to close the Instrument Lists window.

Your new instrument is now added to the instrument list of your choice.
